Its that time of the year! The time when we celebrate being an American. Afterall, isn't our dog the All American Pit Bull Terrier? So if we are all so "All American" then why aren't we able to legally own whatever breed of dog we want? Why does the "land of the free" dictate to us what is "legal" to own? Breed Specific Legislation: racism at its finest or as some call it: breedism. What's next? Will the government dictate to us what model of car we can drive? Or what length our skirt or dress should be? It seems there are bigger fish to fry than as to what "type" of dog one should own. Recently Tia had to fight for a dog's life in the town of Auburn, Calif. Wait until you hear what she's up against now. Tia and the dog she saved could find themselves both behind bars.
