Our guest tonight is Brian Derosa owner of  Wyoming lost and found Tipis.
All of our products are made in Wyoming, USA

Client reported over four foot of snow in a 48-hour period with 0 failures to the canopy of our ripstop nylon tipi. The weight of the snow caused the center pole to bend but not fail. These tents are some of the strongest we have used! The cordura tipis are even stronger than the ripstop tipis.
Our small, 3 and 5 Man Tipis are all made with center heights of 6 ft. or less. We do this for a reason: the higher the peak of the tipi, the bigger the wall that the wind hits in high wind conditions. Keeping the center pole as low as possible while still providing adequate stand-up room makes for a much more efficient and aerodynamic design. Also, this allows the use of two hiking poles, linked together so that an extra center pole is not necessary to pack.
