One of the most upcoming , rising stars in country music, Kim Carson, will be LIVE in our studio.....

Kim Carson's motto is "Don't Fear the Twang!"

Growing up in West Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma, Carson got a taste for Red River Honky Tonk music early on. Her favorites being Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Buck Owens and of course, Waylon and Willie, but Kim Carson didn’t begin playing music until she moved to New Orleans. A New Orleans resident since 1990, Carson was a supporter of the live music scene here then she learned to play guitar and began writing and performing in 1993.

“I enjoy playing Classic Country songs” says Carson, “but I love WRITING songs that sound classic.”  Kim Carson has eleven CDs including a live solo cd.

Carson has been featured on the front cover of “Country Style Magazine” - November 2014, the premier Country publication in Switzerland along with the cover of the “CMC Country Music Magazine” - September 2015 and has been featured, along with Country greats Redd Volkaert, Cindy Cashdollar, Eric Hokkanen and Jesse Dayton on the cd from the popular German band “The Twang”.

Carson’s own CDs and videos are well known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  “It’s an incredible honor for me to bring authentic and original Honky Tonk music to the European audiences and have the fine musicians there record and perform my songs.”

"The Honky Tonk Queen of New Orleans", Kim Carson has been a regular performer at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival since 1995 as well the legendary Roadhouses along the Gulf Coast from Luckenbach, Texas to the Florabama!"

Kim Carson is the Real Deal.

Also, Brian will be talking about the promotional package for musicians, and the International Arty Awards, and how to submit.
