Eight years ago, Heather was given less than 6 months to live.

Diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer at age 26, Heather Jose chose to fight the cancer head on, by putting together a plan to battle cancer on a daily basis. Eight years later, Heather is healthy and using her experiences to speak to healthcare providers and patients about how much their actions and words can impact healing success. Heather is the author of "Letters to Sydney: Every Day I am Killing Cancer". Her husband Larry is a high school coach and they have two children, Syndney and Ty.
