Boots on the Ground featuring Sharen Rooks and Joyce Smith

This week's show features two remarkable women who individually & collectively work to educate the community on issues to include life insurance, domestic violence, incest and homelessness, among other topics. Both women are 2015 S.I.S. Award honorees, an event co-hosted by us and Successful Single Moms Memphis. 

Sharen Rooks is the CEO of the Sharen Rooks agency, an accomplished PR and marketing firm with an impressive roster of clients and events under her belt. She is also an author.

Joyce Smith is the Founder/Executive Director of Helping Hand Asset Relief Program. HHARP is a nonprofit organization designed to help low income, working poor families with funeral assistance when there's no life insurance available.
