As co-founder of Computer Eyed, optically designed eyewear, that corrects for both reading(near) and mid-range(computer viewing) vision, Joan Grossman has  personally been affected with the irritated eyes, headaches, upper back and neck pain all symptoms of Computer Vision Syndrome/Digital Eye Fatigue. Her only option was to purchase expensive, custom made eyeglasses ($300.00) even with insurance, so she teamed up with an eye professional and international eyewear manufacturer decided to create, Computer Eyed, optical quality, readymade computer readers that not only correct for keyboard and computer screen viewing, but have anti-glare on the lenses that reduces the artificial light/digital glare that is emitted from the average computer/digital device.

Before investing, she did hours of research on CVS/Digital Eye Fatigue. It is currently the fastest growing vision condition due to the increased use of computers and Boomers are experiencing immediate and long term effects on their vision.
