The Author's Talk Show with Anna J Stewart ('Tremayne Family Romances')

    in Books

If you like warm, family romances with an unexpected kick of excitement, you’ve found the right place.
There’s nothing Anna J Stewart enjoys more than creating new cities and towns with lots of friends whose lives intersect in fun and surprising ways. As she's discovered, family isn’t always what you’re given, it’s what you find along the way, and those are the types of contemporary romances she loves to write.
A USA Today Bestselling Author, her most recent work is the Tremayne triology.
The Tremaynes are one of the most prosperous families in Lantano Valley, California. But money can’t buy everything-especially when it comes to love…
Morgan Tremayne has a heart of gold, but to keep her children’s charity afloat she’s had to resort to some less than legal means: donations from a notorious cat burglar who targets the wealthy. It’s only a matter of time before Morgan’s criminal connection blows up in her face-especially since her undeniable attraction to the man heading the investigation keeps putting her in tricky situations.
Former police detective-turned-investigator Gage Juliano has two goals: salvaging his career and nabbing Lantano Valley’s present-day Robin Hood. But when he meets a beautiful, curvaceous woman who’s more interested in helping others than amassing a fortune like the rest of the town’s residents, Gage finds his desires pulled in an unexpected direction…
You can see more about Anna J Stewart, her books, her apperances, and so much more at her website http://www.authorannastewart.com.

    in Books

M’Hogany is a singer, songwriter, arranger, and former US Soldier. As a child, she was teased for her dark skin complexion. Her mother soothed her by telling her she was not black, she was mahogany—thus the namesake was born. Between the ages of 8 and 12, she began reciting original poems, but never wrote anything down. She was approached to have her poetry published, but her mother declined the offer. Two weeks prior to her grandmother’s death, M’Hogany had a vision to dedicate her completed novel to her. In the wake of her passing, she decided to incorporate her grandmother’s legacy into her writing. Her grandmother was not only the first lady of her church, but she was the head musician. “I had to continue on this journey my granny knew I started. I was named after her because I looked like her, so I feel I have to let her legacy live through me,” M'Hogany said. M’Hogany has also contributed to the Literary Lounge magazine created by Tracie Holmes.  “I write the stories that life sings,” M'Hogany said.

  • The Author Chat Show with Lynda D. Brown

    in Books

Meet author Norma Yeager. Norma will be chatting with me about her book, Breaking Down the Walls: 50 Courageous and Successful Years
    About the book:
Young women in the 21st century have choices. They can marry or not; the doors of educational institutions and industry are wide open to them. They can do and be whatever they choose. But to keep moving forward, it is important to understand from where we have come. And Norma Yaeger's story helps put it is perspective. Like most young women in the 1950's, Norma Yaeger married young, had children, and depended on her husband to support their families. Unlike most women of the times, when things went awry and her husband failed to provide, Norma took it upon herself to make a better life for her and her kids.
    About the author:
Norma Yaeger, came of age in New York in the mid 20th century when even educated women were expected to marry, have children and keep house.  So Norma went to City College of New York’s Bernard Baruch School Of Business and the Institute of Finance and then she got married, had children and deferred to her husband.  When he failed to provide, she not only stepped up, she stepped out, and became a stockbroker.
