Chart-topping Patti Labelle has made hits such as "Lady Marmalade" "New Attitude, and "On My Own.“ An international star for over 4 decades, she returns to Lehman Center bringing her fabulous four-octave range. A 2-time Emmy and Grammy winner, she has enjoyed one of the longest careers in contemporary music.  Patti authored 7 books, 5 cookbooks and has her own Lady Marmalade line of cooking sauces and marinades. She headlines at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West in the Bronx, NY, at 8:00 pm on May 11th.

The second half of the show features Xavier Lewis, of “America's Got Talent” fame. Lewis also appeared on the NBC's Today Show and became the Grand Prize Winner of the Georgia Lottery All Access Music Search for POP/R&B where his Hit Single “Georgia Clay“ premiered LIVE on WSBTV-ABC throughout the state of Georgia. The single caught the attention of The Recording Academy, Georgia Music Hall-Of-Fame as well as TV & Radio stations throughout the nation.  Xavier was a special guest on the Steve Harvey Morning Show wherein Steve premiered “Georgia Clay” to an audience of over 55 Million people.  Xavier will be the opening act for Patti Labelle’s May 11th concert at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. 

Eva Bornstein, Lehman Ctr, Exec Dir, talks about a Spring Gala and Benefit for Lehman Center and The Montefiore Children's Hospital, which takes place in the Lehman Center lobby from 4:30-7pm.  The benefit reception will feature wine and  hors d’oeuvres. Gala tickets are $350 (for both the reception and the concert), $250 (reception only) and $100 (concert only).
