As part of African American History month, host Deardra Shuler speaks with jazz club owner and promoter Sal Pignone of Golden Note Productions in association with Golden Note Records, who will talk about the history of the club, its artists and discuss deceased organist Jimmy McGriff whose last release has become a collector's item. Young Post 620, American Legion club, located at 1530 Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx, NY, where winners and their guests can pick-up their CD. Bring friends and enjoy an inexpensive evening of jazz and meals for $7.50, which includes a drink, from 7PM-12 midnight on Saturday, April 9. Mr. Pignone also features jazz shows at the American Legion located on 132nd St (bet. 7th & 8th Ave), Manhattan, on Sundays from 7PM-12 midnight.
