Host Deardra Shuler talks with Emmy Award winning actor Keith David about his upcoming show THE CAPE premiering on Sunday, January 9th, on NBC at 9:00pm, 8:00 central. Keith who stars as Max Malini on "The Cape" is a New York born actor and Julliard alumni. He has appeared in Oliver Stone's Academy Award-winning "Platoon," Clint Eastwood's "Bird," and Paul Haggis' Academy Award-winning "Crash," as well as "There's Something About Mary," "Armageddon," "Pitch Black; The Chronicles of Riddick," "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", "Coraline", The Princess and the Frog", "Barbershop and "Death at a Funeral." Mr David has received multiple Emmy Awards for his narration of two Ken Burns documentaries: "The War" and "Unforgivable Blackness", and was nominated for his narration of "Jazz". He has also received a daytime Emmy nomination for his work in Showtime's "The Tiger Wood's Story" and a Tony Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his role in the Broadway play "Jelly's Last Jam. Deardra will also talk with the New York subway hero Wesley Autry, a former construction worker and Navy veteran who in 2007 achieved international recognition after he saved Cameron Hollopeter, a 20-year-old film student who had suffered a seizure and fallen onto the tracks, from being struck by a New York City subway train by throwing himself on top of Hollopeter as the train passed over them during the second half of the show.
