The Philadelphia Eagles (4-1) almost made history on Sunday, and it wasn't the good kind.
Philly nearly became the first team in NFL history to blow a 27-point, regular-season lead in regulation as the Eagles held off the hard-charging Rams (1-3) 34-28.
Austin Davis rallied the Rams back from a 34-7 deficit with three straight scores, but his incomplete pass on a 4th-and-13 with less than a minute remaining sealed the outcome.
