Meet Ann Herendeen as we discuss Pride/Prejudice, Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander bisexual storytelling and more. "A native New Yorker and lifelong resident of Brooklyn, Ann Herendeen is a graduate of Princeton University, where she earned a B.A. with High Honors in English. Ann found her voice as a writer by adopting the “third perspective:” the woman who prefers a bisexual husband and an m/m/f ménage. With her first novel, Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander (2008), Ann put a new twist on a traditional form, creating the ultimate love story she always wanted to read: a bisexual (m/m/f) historical romance. Now with Pride/Prejudice (2010), Ann has dared to tell the hidden bisexual story she sees within Jane Austen’s popular novel. P/P has been named one of the five finalists for this year’s Lambda Literary Award in the Bisexual Fiction category."
