The American Disease Project (Young Dirty Bastard)

Meet Wu-Tang Clan’s newest member:  Barsun Unique Jones (or to put it another way:  ODB’s son). Young Dirty Bastard – aka Boy Jones.  He has taken on his father’s role among the rugged Spartan beats of the legendary NYC rap crew.  Thus far, his public appearances have been constrained to a hyper appearance in the last couple of years. He has performed at such events as “U. S. Rock the Bells Hip Hops Tour,” has made an appearance at “Summer Jam,” and at “The Brooklyn Barclays Center.”  He has done features on the mix album called, ‘Wu Tang vs. Shaolin Masters.’ In addition to music, YDB has done movie soundtracks such as “The Man with the Iron Fist, Afro Samurai, The Protector,” and many more.  He is very much a chip off his father’s block: gravelly voice, whacked-out ululation and cheeky, oddball lyricism.
