Female vocalist and songwriter AXLA (Ay-luh), is an up-and-coming, talented, multi-genre artist from Morton, IL.  Since the early age of 6, Alexandria (given name) has dedicated herself to becoming a music protégée and performer.  Growing up she would watch and listen to her dad play his guitar and she would sign along.  Once AXLA became old enough, she would venture out with her father to play open mic nights in the local clubs, performing alongside her father.

In recent years through the assistance of social media, AXLA understood the power of the platform and she began to use it to her advantage.  Soon she began posting videos of her singing cover songs on YouTube and other social media platforms.  Not long after posting, AXLA’s covers began to go viral, accumulating over 47k+ views on YouTube, 1,000,000+ FaceBook views, 40k+ Twitter views, and 70,000+ views on Instagram.  Many of her covers are from some of her favorite artists who’s influences can be heard in her music today.  Ariana Grande is one artist many of her followers have commented that AXLA sounds most like.

With her covers going viral, record labels have reached out and shown interest in getting to know her and hear her music, labels such as Interscope, Atlantic, and Epic records to name a few.  AXLA moved across country to LA, but has now settled in Atlanta Ga where currently she is working on her EP which consists of talented and accredited songwriters and producers in the music industry, helping to elevate her sound to her next plateau.
