Floeazy, born George Garrett Jr is a native of Chicago’s west side.  Being the great nephew of the late great Sam Cooke, Floeazy was always interested in music. Although Floeazy could not sing he found a passion in rap music. Floeazy began to write his own songs at the age of 8. When Floeazy first started rapping it was gospel rap but he could not find a music studio that would let him make any songs, so he decided to take a different approach. When Floeazy was around 16 he met another rapper who turned him on to freestyle rap battling. By the time he was 18 he had won multiple rap battles in more than 5 states.  Some of Floeazy’s influences were master p, the Hot Boys, Rakim and Krs one. Floeazys debut album “Go with the Flo” will drop spring of 2015. He plans to move to L.A. shortly after to further pursue his music career.
