Ginny Hunt is a professional tarot reader & author of the popular tarot blog “78 Notes To Self: A Tarot Journal.” Drawn to the metaphysical & spiritual all of her life, she finally found her tarot gifts in 2004 and started reading tarot professionally on expert consulting websites & then through her own blog. She has counseled professionally & para-professionally both for teens and battered women. She has written for niche magazines & is currently working on a book on tarot.

Interpreting court cards can be tricky. However, court cards are 3-dimensional & are not limited to the traditional, flat, keywords they have assigned to them. Nor are they particularly rooted to any astrological sign, as some assign them. Elemental symbolism adds in the role of their particular station ~ then include some understanding of personalities and flesh them out as real people.

How do court cards rank within the deck? We'll find out. We'll talk their placement – where are they facing, who are they looking at, what are they focusing on, which direction do they appear to be going, & what they are facing. Are they giving advice? Are they an outcome? Are they a “situation?” We will also discuss advanced interpretive techniques about “sideways” & “reversed” courts.

Ginny is writing a book that includes the material we'll discuss. She also has a series that first aired on Leisa ReFalo's Tarot Connection podcast (www.TarotConnection.net) called “The Tarot Court,” also available for download from iTunes. The court series is also on a player on Ginny's blog and can be accessed in post form on her blog as well.
