The journey through the tarot is one of cycles, which means our paths will,at times, lead us back to role of beginner. How does a seasoned tarot practitioner recognize the need for adopting a beginner's mind? And what does she do then? Barbara Moore shares her experience.

The Importance of Having a Beginners Mind when doing tarot is key, no matter how many years you have practiced tarot. Barbara candidly writes:

As you know I've been doing this for a long time. However, last summer I got in a kind of funk and felt lost in terms of what I believe about tarot. I spent so many years not taking a stand. The whole "there are no right or wrongs ways" etc. thing. In the fall I started listening to blog talk, where I found The Tarot Lady. I noticed that she took apprentices. I contacted her, explained my situation, and she apprenticed me for 3 months. It was just what I needed to wade through all the piles of ideas and opinions I'd been carrying around and getting to the bottom of my own core beliefs.

Tonight, Tarot author Barbara Moore joins Theresa Reed (The Tarot Lady) to remind us of the importance of getting back to basics and finding the core of tarot, leaving opinions and biases behind.
