Beyond the Airwaves Best of 2015 -- The Farewell Tribute to Leonard Nimoy

For this week and next week, we're going to look back at six great episodes over the course of 2015.

 

Tonight, we look back at the passing of a true TV icon: Leonard Nimoy. When he passed on February 27, the world was saddened by the loss of a man who played one of the most unforgettable characters on television: Mr. Spock. He went beyond that to play Parris in Mission: Impossible, voiced Galvatron in the 1986 Transformers: The Movie, and was able to play Mr. Spock in the new rebooted Star Trek movies.

 

He leaves behind an amazing legacy of those who became scientists because of him. We honor him with this episode.
