Technology is a beautiful thing.  Automated tech is even better as it has made our lives easier in some cases.  In others, however, what happens when automated technology ends up violating the law where it was created?  This week’s case will focus on purchases made by an automated online shopping bot that ended up making purchases on the Deep Web that were illegal purchases.  Join our hosts as they tackle questions such as: if these purchases were shipped to the U.S. who would be legally responsible for purchasing the goodies?  Would it be the ones that programmed the bot, the bot itself, or someone else, like the server on which the contraband was available in the first place?
