The Biblical Restoration of Israel

So much of what we do in Christianity is the exact reverse of what we have been asked to do. So many Christians seem to think that a Christian Life is a multiple choice questionaire.  So how come we just don't do the things we are asked to do in the Bible? Is it simply that we do not understand how to read and understand our Bibles? Or maybe we read the Bible with predjudice and ignorance of just who we are.
