Inspiration comes in many forms but it is never delivered as brilliantly or as entertaining as when motivational poet and strategic presenter SEKOU ANDREWS has the stage!

Born in Berkeley, CA, he received his Bachelor's degree in Sociology, with his sights on Law School, but accepted the challenge of teaching elementary school in South Central, Los Angeles.  Realizing his voice was meant to reach further then the classroom, he recorded his first spoken word CD.

BTC HOST KATHY BARRETT interviews SEKOU ANDREWS about his life and how he launched his prestigious career.  Sekou was part of THE UNDERGROUND POETS RAILROAD which raised funds for 911 fallen firefighters and DECLARE YOURSELF which registered over a million new voters. SEKOU has performed prvately for President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, Quincy Jones and Al Gore and inspired sold-out crowds for countless high profile clients, including the Pasadena Pops Orchestra.
