Join us for this bonus segment on September 19, 2013 at 9:00 PM  with an Olympic Champion Survivor. Shannon Miller is The Most Decorated American Gymnast in history. She is the only American to rank among the Top 10 All-Time gymnasts and the only female athlete to be inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame - twice! Shannon's winning record includes 59 International and 49 National competition medals; over half are gold. Her quest to win took an unexpected turn in 2010, when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Competing with Cancer wasn't something Shannon anticipated as a married 34-year-old new parent to her son Rocco. A routine screening revealed germ cell ovarian cancer; she had no symptoms.

Upon retiring from Olympic competition, Shannon earned a law degree and worked as a motivational speaker while developing "Shannon Miller Lifestyle" to encourage health and fitness for women. After facing the greatest hurdle of her life and conquering ovarian cancer, she continues to empower women to make their health a priority. Through her website, book, advocacy, and radio show, she helps patients and survivors maintain a positive attitude, conquer obstacles and restore balance. Join us as champion survivor Shannon Miller shares her passion to make a difference for others and the blessings of survivorship, including her "miracle" baby girl.
