Hope is not something that is static. It is adaptable and always shifting. Similarly, the gospel narratives regarding hope are fluid and don’t always match. Nevertheless, it is through this messiness and discrepancy that the full reflection of the human condition is realized, and hope can be restored. Join us this week for our new Advent worship series, “Hope”. These are extraordinary times of uncertainty and unrest. The global pandemic has challenged and shaped us like no other event. This week reflect on the narrative of Hope as seen in the Gospel of Matthew. Join Pastor Tony Minear and Rev. Scott Jones as together they present a unique sermon dialogue about Hope. In such a time as this, rediscover your sense of HOPE to gift to others now and into the new year.

Recorded live on Zoom // Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 11/25/20

Preaching: Rev. Tony Minear, Ph.D., and Rev. Scott Jones

Scripture Reader: Deni Nordmeyer

Scripture Reference: Isaiah 9:1-7
