Most people have heard of the superiority of human breast milk over both formula and animal milk for human infants, and are aware of studies indicating breast-fed infants have a higher intellect (IQ) and less incidence of disease for life.
But now, scientists have identified why the difference, and how new mothers who are not able to breast feed can still make sure their child has the same benefits of breast-fed babies. Guest Speaker, Shelene Van Wyk will address these issues as a mother and grandmother of children with special needs.
