The events of April 19th, 1775 were not a spontaneous uprising of American farmers and shopkeepers who decided to begin a revolt out of the blue. This was something that had been cooking itself up for several years. This is the way all revolts start. This is the way all revolutions begin.
Tonight we discus the spin up of the war after Bunker Hill and Dorchester Heights. What the colonists did after their first three heady vctories, after the British set sail for Halifax and before the reality of what war would mean set in.
