Jamai Wray is an author, speaker, trainer, and owner of M Wray Publishing based in the heart of NYC. Jamai grew up in the tough streets of Jamaica, Queens New York where he used his writings not only to mentally escape from his surroundings, but to inspire and motivate himself to advance to greater achievements. Modeling their philosophy to influence others through his writings, his mentors include James Patterson, Stephen Covey, and Jim Rohn.

Jamai writings has landed himself a partnership with Cornerstone Academy for Social Action, a Middle School in the Bronx section of New York. He teaches an expressive creative writing course biweekly, where he uses life lessons through creative writing as a platform to build character and bring awareness to the youth in the urban community. His self-published book, “The Random Thoughts of a Philosophy Major Drop-Out” is the framework for which the curriculum is base from. He’s also in the process of creating the workbook (Lifebook) to go alongside his book, which is due out the fall of 2015.
