Shooting at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston

This week, we will discuss the heinous shooting of nine people that died at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. In the house of God, as people engaged in Bible Study a gunman opened fire and killed nine people. The shooter is a 21-year-old white man. On Wednesday, June 17th, the gunmen sat in the church, among the parishoners, for an hour, before opening fire. What would drive someone to commit a hate crime inside a church?
