Chique 30 Minutes With Author And Designer Angi Shearstone

Angi Shearstone is an award-winning professional artist with an MFA in comics, a trio of cats, inescapable geek tendencies and a fondness for ska-core. She brings 18 years of professional art, graphics, and publishing experience to the table.  She's worked in children's books with Mercer Mayer, in comics on Batman: Gotham County Line with Scott Hampton, collaborated with Mur Lafferty on Beyond the Storm: Shadows of the Big Easy, with Joe Sutliff Sanders on Torches and Still Life, and otherwise has self-published a handful of small comic book projects. She currently teaches cool computer stuff to keep the bills paid as she works tirelessly on her epic-sized fully painted comic book series, BloodDreams, steering her life away from graphic design and towards comic books and video production. She's also a certified dabbler in video editing, with certifications in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Color.
