Host Adam Burke was back on the air again with another edition of The Bettor's Box, BangTheBook.com's MLB betting podcast and the industry's premier baseball handicapping show. This show was more like our traditional format, as Adam went Beyond the Box Score, Down the Lines, gave a pick for Thursday night, and then previewed the week ahead. There was a lot to talk about on today's show, with interesting developments league-wide. Beyond the Box Score touched on the Dodgers vs. Indians, Cubs vs. Mets, Mariners vs. Twins, and Royals vs. Giants. A surprising team has seen some MLB betting odds love lately. Pitchers that are getting a lot of run support and those that aren't went under the microscope. Finally, some good betting opportunities for the weekend and Monday were talked about in our look ahead to the weekend.
