Jamaica – Celebrating a Milestone!

On August 6th 2010 Jamaica celebrated its 48th year of Independence. As is customary the Jamaican Diasporas in most major cities across the globe celebrated in style with various activities. This week Backyardlabrish welcomes the Hon. Vin Martin, Jamaica’s Honorary Consul to Atlanta. He will reflect on this 48th year milestone in Jamaica’s history, and its impact on the Jamaican Diaspora.
