The Backyard will devote the first month of the new year to the celebration of the exotic fruits of Jamaica . This small Island is blessed with a wide variety of delicious and nutritious fruits growing in abundance in almost every Parish. This week we’ll be Celebrating our “Mangos, Apples & Plums” Some species of these delicious fruits are not as plentiful as they were back-in-the-days. However, “Mango Season” is still a time of year eagerly awaited by all, especially mango-loving members of the Diaspora, who will plan their vacation around that season.
