I had the honor of meeting Joe a few weeks ago "on the road to Damascus"; actually we met at a church event in Damascus PA. I learned about his non- profit organization, Music Loves Math. Music Loves Math operates a school in Ghana, West Africa, which provides free education for under-privileged children in his father's home village.

Joe is an award winning music producer and songwriter for the Ghana based music label that he founded GH Brothers. Also he is the songwriter and producer of the Ghanaian American artist, his brother, Jay Ghartey. Joe has won 8 awards at the Ghana Music Awards and Ghana Music Video awards. Prior to founding GH Brothers in 2008, Joe was a Managing Director at the global investment Bank JP Morgan.
