The Average White Guys pay tribute to the fairer sex by hosting our first Geek Girls panel.  We take this opportunity to discuss what makes a woman a geek, are geek girls held to a different standard, to what is the best way to win the heart of a geek girl and more.

Joining us for this discussion will be:

Kristin Heise is ReedPop.com’s social media ninja for New York Comic Con [www.newyorkcomiccon.com], Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo [www.c2e2.com] and Star Wars Celebration [www.starwarscelebration.com]. Loves animals, fears spiders, questions sharks’ motives. On days when she’s not spreading good-nerd cheer, she may be found traveling, gaming, cycling, reading, creating or all of the above. Observe her brain 24/7 on twitter @henchling.

Kristin Hacket: co-creator and contributor for www.WearPinkWednesdays.com, a site dedicated to the girl who is geeky and glam. You can find her on twitter @dramaqueen327 tweeting often about what's new in the world of comics and sci-fi as well as her undying love of Spider-Man.

Since 2005, Kristin Lindsay has worked under the Penny Arcade (www.penny-arcade.com) umbrella as the  foundation co-ordinator of Child's Play, a non-profit organization that provides pediatric facilities with video game consoles, as well as the manager of volunteers for the Penny Arcade Exposition (PAX), one of the largest gaming festivals in the world. She is an avid gamer, an unabashed Canadian and the proud mother of three adorable geeklings
