You're having a conversation with some friends of friends and as you all are discussing where you grew up and what professions you're in, you find yourself sizing the newbies up--by his/her class. Ever happened to you? Or maybe you've been on the other side of the judgment, finding that you have to defend yourself for coming from or being of a particular class? You end up asserting yourself as an individual, purely as an attempt to demystify the stereotypes of the socioeconomic class you too often get lumped in. Seems like a situation we* all* may have encountered at one point or another, especially in our post-graduate lives. Whether we're on the job, socializing at mixers or on the dating scene, we tend to carry –and become subject to- some preconceived notions stemming from what wear, where we work and live, and who are friends are. That's why the ladies of Avenue Pink are opening the airwaves to hear from you! See we realize that being so stuck in these ways sacrifices the unity young 20-somethings – a powerful tool that we *could* be using to achieving to achieve our goals collectively, so we’re hosting an open discussion of real talk to address the issues and lay them to rest! Join the block party at www.avenuepink.com with the ladies of Avenue Pink--let's chat! Tell us what your experience has been.
