Eldridge, author of "Empowered Living Expanded Edition: A Guide to Physical and Emotional Protection".   Here is what Tori has to say about her book: I’m so excited about speaking with you on Authors on the Air about my new Expanded Empowered Living: A Guide to Physical and Emotional Protection. As you can tell from the title, my goal is to integrate physical and emotional protection in the way that we integrate our body, mind, and spirit when we think of holistic health. Thoughts, words, and actions are instrumental to our overall well-being, but they are also essential to our sense of emotional empowerment and tangible physical protection. Unfortunately, most people—including authors and teachers—separate the emotional and the physical into two distinct and barely relatable camps. We can easily find books to help us with grief, addiction, insecurity, relationships, and business; or show us how to beat the stuffing out of an attacker and escape physical violence; however, none of them make any attempt to integrate all of these human challenges into a unified set of concepts and strategies. It is not their purpose, but it is mine. I want to integrate physical and emotional protection so seamlessly that we can practice strategies that empower us in our every-day lives and, by doing so, assimilate them so thoroughly that they protect us in the event of physical violence.
