Noir crime author Michael Pool visits with Pam on Authors on the Air

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes back noir crime fiction author Michael Pool, author and podcast host of Crime Syndicate.  Mike has this to say about himself:   My crime noir novella, DEBT CRUSHER,  has been reissued by Down and Out Books. TEXAS TWO-STEP  released on April 2, 2018, followed by my new companion novel, ROSE CITY.  Both are loosely based on the experiences I’ve had and people I’ve met both being a native Texas son and making a life in the western wilds of the Rocky Mountains.  I’ve worked as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, private investigator, used car salesman (The worst salesman ever would be a better description), and a bellhop, among other slightly more nefarious things, over the years. I draw on these experiences along with my experiences growing up behind the pine curtain in almost all of my writing. I believe it is the writer’s greatest calling to both entertain and enlighten on the human condition. I try to do both with everything I write.
