Barry Eisler, the best selling author of the John Rain thriller series, joins host Stephen Campbell for episode number 36 of Murders, Mystery and Mayhem.

Barry's latest book, GRAVEYARD OF MEMORIES, will be released on February 11th, and we've got him the day before it hits the stores.  We'll be talking, in depth, about the book, which is a look back at John Rain's Formative years, but because it's Barry Eisler, we also cover a lot of other ground.  He'll share some of his views on publishing, the different kinds of prejudices in the world of books, and he'll explain how he became the reader for his own audio books.

As background, Barry, who famously turned down a $500,000 advance to self publish, spent three years in a covert position with the CIA's Directorate of Operations, then worked as a technology lawyer and startup executive in Silicon Valley and Japan, earning his black belt at the Kodokan International Judo Center along the way.
