Author Peter Mack stops by the show to discuss his two latests books, Filthy: Innocence Lost and Licks: Dirty, Nasty, Daddy
About the books:
Filthy: Los Angeles. 1984. Dawn of the crack era. Raymond is 14 years old when he goes to live with his grandmother. When his uncle Curt gets out of prison and teaches him to sell cocaine, what follows is a summer of sex, violence, money and murder. Filthy is based on a true story. It is recipient of a PEN American Center book prize.
Licks:
A full trilogy that begins with the kidnap of a murderous drug dealer's wife. After Stash is arrested for murdering a crooked narc it is up to Starla to get him out, blackmailing a judge and exposing an underworld of sexual fetish.
