Meet author Alan Noble. Alan will be chatting with me today about his book, Climbing for Roots: Christian Foundations for Young Believers.

About the book:

Sin, that diabolical disease of the spirit, has infected the entire human race! What is it? Essentially it is missing the mark. Mankind has been missing the mark since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. After that, everything went south. God’s perfect creation was in need of repair.

But because of His great love He sent His Son, Jesus, to make things the way they were supposed to be. The same immeasurable power that created the universe gave all of mankind an ability to be in God’s fellowship because of what Jesus did for us.

Climbing for Roots will explain fully the sin that so completely corrupted creation, and the plan of God for our salvation. We learn that Jesus is not only our Savior, but is also the Lord of our lives. What does that mean? That obedience will never earn us God’s love but it will always produce blessing. We learn that our salvation is secure, but we must strive for obedience because we are created to do good works.
