Brandon Carr hurt--needs surgery on his hand. He will be back for the season, but won't play the pre-season. However, 1st round pick Byron Jones didn't look good---he got undressed a few times by backups. Is this a sign that perhaps Jones isn't what we thought he was? Is Jones worth a starting spot?
Dustin Vaughan and Jameil Showers possibly a replacement for Romo----well, Vaughan looks the most like it now. Showers is a mobile QB like Vick, but more accruate. They have been moving him around on special teams, trying to get him on the field as much as possible. Also, did Vaughan show enough to overtake Weeden as the #2?
Pass Rush analysis after game---how does the front line look? It appeared that silver helmets were in the backfield A LOT thursday night, which is a great sign.
