Ask the Heavens a Question: Horary Astrology Demo

Today on the Astrology Fundamentals radio show, we will be demonstrating what Horary Astrology is and how it works. Ron Akanowicz of Four Seasons Astrology will be co-hosting with me, Karen White of Divine Time Astrology.

Ron has been an astrologer for eleven years, practicing Natal and recently adding Horary astrology. He is a member of the professional astrology organizations NCGR, OPA, and SFAA.
Ron and I have been colleagues and friends for the past three years now, often consulting with each other professionally, especially on Horary charts.

People always ask me "What is Horary (here they stumble over the strangeness of the word) and why does it have such a strange name?"

The word "Horary" comes from the Latin word "Hora" which means "of the hour." This is referring to the "hour" a person asks the heavens a sincere question. Horary is pronounced "whore-airy." Really!

The astrologer then casts a chart for the time they receive and understand the question. The resulting Horary chart is then "read" by the astrologer in great detail.

It's like going to a Tarot card reader, except there is much more precise detailed information available in the Horary chart than there is with Tarot cards, even with an exceptional Tarot card reader.
