Ask The Cat Doctor Discusses Animal Cruelty with CPR Pets

As much as we don't want to hear about it or think about it, animal abuse and cruelty is a very real problem that we need to address. Sometimes this cruelty is at the hands of even veterinarians and breeders, as you will learn in this broadcast of Cat Talk Radio. We are joined by members of the Coalition to Protect and Rescue Pets, an unfunded, all-volunteer advocacy organization, and the national expert on the devocalization issue, more commonly called "debarking", but something that is done to cats as well. In this episode we talk with:
 

• Joel Woolfson, DVM, DACVS, a board-certified veterinary surgeon practicing in Boston. 
• Cheryl Major, a Board member of the Buddy Dog Humane Society and leadership team member for CPR Pets.
• Sue Perry, the Connecticut representative of Coalition to Protect and Rescue Pets who adopted a dog she later learned was devocalized.
