Fear, anxiety, distrust of self and others, depression, guilt, stomach pains, health depravation. You can check all of those boxes for me! At least in my past! -

I think one of the greatest realizations for me on my healing journey was how much I suppressed and pushed down. All of these memories would start coming up and I would be so afraid to face them. I thought my “strength” was that I could ignore them and not have to feel them. That is a really harmful mistruth that many of us tell ourselves. -

Over time, not facing traumas and feelings really took its toll on my health. I was experience healing blockages, stress related conditions, developed bad habits for a distraction, I was ignoring my intuition.  When I thought I was “fine”, my wounds were asking to be healed more than ever, and they were showing me that by not allowing me to make any progress until those things I ignored were properly addressed. -

When I was ready to heal, I will admit it was a painful process. I started by taking complete responsibility for self inflicting certain pains and forgave myself for them. Once I was able to forgive myself I knew I could really fully forgive those pains that weren’t my fault, and that’s when the progress began. I’ve found that in practice and in my personal life, we really do tend to have a very difficult time looking at ourselves because no one wants to be at fault. But in order to forgive and move on, you’ve gotta be trusting in you! Numero uno! Either way, your healing is YOUR responsibility. You’ve got this and I’ve got your back! -

Today’s show will be based on this, because of the overwhelming responses I got to a few of my questions!

Tune in to ashleyonair.club at 9:30am PST, and if you can’t listen live it will be on iTunes and YouTube as well! -
