I was born and raised by my parents on the southside of Chicago. My parents gave me great advantages by putting me in dance classes, piano lessons and putting me in private schools. By the time I went to high school, I realized I love to run and I quickly joined the track team. This love, paired with talent, afforded me a full scholarship to college.
