The Season to Give. We love giving and it has become a tradition for American families. Healing Touch Buddies is a non-profit organization offering energetic healing support to individuals challenged with breast cancer. Qualified Healing Touch volunteers provide therapeutic healing sessions to their “Buddies” over a full year. There is no charge to the Buddy and the organization is supported by the generosity of our guest, Betty Ann Baker, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer along with donations. A FUNdraising CONCERT is being held on December 4th at 7:00 PM at Mos’art Theater in Lake Park, FL. It’s real Rock and Roll from Clapton to the Beatles and more. Betty Ann Baker will join us on The Art of Living Well to tell us about this “GIVING OPPORTUNITY” and the important work of Healing Touch Buddies. Rabbi Gancz of Chabad of West Palm Beach will lead us through the spiritual history of Chanukah – The Festival of Lights. This rich spiritual tradition is about Miracles and Faith. Rabbi Gancz will give us a full tour of this year’s CityPlace Chanukah Family Festival in West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday, December 5th beginning at 3:30 PM. Menorah lighting at sundown. It's a super festival at CityPlace with jugglers, fire acts, jazz musicians and entertainment for children including stilt walkers, face painting, dreidels, gelt and more. This event is free to the entire community. This year the Menorah is “Toy Filled” – yes, filled with toys that will be distributed to families of all faiths via the Children’s Home Society and other local charities. Whether you live in Florida or not, we know that our local community represents just one piece the national collection of generous hearts – people who know that to care and share is the true spirit of holiness and Holiday Spirit.
