Sal Masekela

Sal Masekela, is a commentator, host, producer, journalist, musician and son of South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela. He is may be best known as the host of E! Daily 10 for over 4 years as well as hosting all of ESPN’s coverage for Summer & Winter X Games for the past 12 years and as host of NBC Sport’s new massive programing block “Red Bull Signature Series” which will air several times a month all year. Sal just came off of an exciting time at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last month where he not only served as a juror but also had a documentary short, “Alekesam” about him and his father in competition. He is VERY smart, interesting, has an incredibly diverse background; born in NY, toured off and on with his father, then moved to San Diego and became a surfer, skater and snowboarder and beyond to now producing projects and reconnecting with his musical roots, with an album “The Sound of Alekesam” which dropped virally last month, and it is GOOD…
