Elaine Hendrix

Elaine Hendrix who is set to star in the upcoming AOL and Vuguru (Michael Eisner’s independent studio) web series “Fetching,” from the writers of “Sex and the City” and “Gossip Girl;” debuting June 18^th on AOL On Relationships. The 15 episode series, is about a woman who restarts her life and follows her true dream of opening her own business, a doggy daycare store called “Fetching”. Elaine plays Shelia, Fetching's biggest client along with her overly pampered pup Frederick; Shelia just may be the shop's biggest pain in the tail. Think 'Samantha Jones' (Sex & the City) for the dog obsessed. She will also be seen in the film GENERAL EDUCATION (she is on poster below) starring Janeane Garofalo and Larry Miller, out in theatres on limited release August 24th.

Continuing her momentum this year, Elaine was also cast opposite Judy Greer in ABC’s comedy pilot “Instant Stepmom.” Elaine plays the tough as nails town Sheriff and antithesis to Judy’s character. In addition, she taking the stage for the University of North Alabama’s adaptation of “A Streetcar Named Desire,” where she stars as Blanche opposite Broadway Alum, Myk Watford (playing Stanley). Directed by Tony Nominated Randal Myler, this production is part of the universities new summer theatre program that gives integrated opportunities with professional actors to their department of Music and Theatre graduate students.
