Dweller On The Threshold

In February we are taking a closer look at the Dweller on the Threshold. "When The Soul Awakens" by Nancy Seifer and Martin Vieweg describes the term: "The Dweller is a term used to designate the sum total of the forces of the lower nature, all aspects of the unredeemed personality that serve to impede spiritual contact. It is the mask of the persona veiling the true Self. Its presence is experienced acutely at the point when the awakened individual has set foot on the Path and seeks direct impression from the soul. Facing the dweller involves a conscious struggle between personal desires and ambitions and the higher impulses of the soul." I will be reading from their book and talking with Seifer and Vieweg, as well as reading from Theosophical works on the subject and discussing my paintings The Art of the Path and how they came about.
