Please help Corey Clagett--another brave soldier railroaded by political correctness Pfc Corey's Mother, Melanie Dianiska, is a friend of mine. Corey is in Leavenworth prison for killing an "insurgent". To hear the full account from his mother and his lawyer, please listen to The Raymond Owens Show on BlogTalk Radio. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/raymond/2008/04/16/The-Raymond-Owens-Show-SPECIAL-GUEST-TONIGHT You may also go to http://coreyclagett.net to see where you can send donations for his defense. Melanie can not do this by herself--she and Corey need our support. Also, if you would like to write to Corey you may do so at this address:. Corey Clagett 82477 1300 N.Warehouse rd Ft.Leavenworth,KS 66027-2304 Please keep your correscpondence encouraging and upbeat. We want him to come back as strong and proud as he was when he volunteered to serve his country. Thank you, Karen

Date / Time: 7/3/2008 2:14 AM UTC
One of the most missions facing Military Families is remembering our troops who have given the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect our freedom. We must do our best to honor them and the families they left behind.
One father has undertaken the mission of designing a flag to remember our fallen and is determined to have the flag recognized by Congress.
George Lutz' mission began after his son, Cpl George A.(Tony) Lutz, was killed in action December 29, 2005.
Mr. Lutz is running a petition that is supported by celebrities such Hulk Hogan, to present to congress for an official flag to remember our fallen troops.
This 4th of July Military Families Voice of Victory will host a special one hour program on Blog Talk Radio with guest George Lutz.
Please join us in the effort to get Mr. Lutz' mission completed.
Blog Talk Radio is running a public poll asking if you support an official flag to Honor and Remember our Fallen.

I haven't been writing much or doing blog talk the last couple of weeks but I do have a reasonable excuse. The world have been much better off doing without the ramblings associated with nicotine withdrawal. One doesn't just get cravings along with intense moodiness but you also get incredibly scatter brained. Spell check can only help so much. There are times that it is best to back away from the keyboard and this is one of those times. Now after fourteen days life is returning to normal.... Well almost.
The third day into withdrawal from cigarettes my surgeon informed me that I need to go into the shop to have some work done. My trip into the shop will take place early in the week this week. If all goes well I should be back at the keyboard in a few days and hopefully back on the air in a week or so. The procedure can cause my voice to go the way of the dodo temporarily unless things go really wrong and then I could always sound different.
The good news is that I am able to smell the flowers along the way now that my sense of smell is returning after giving up cigarettes.
