Matters of the Heart - The Roots of Disobedience

Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." In January we talked about making changes, and pursuing our goals with purpose, on purpose. But as Proverbs 4:23 says, our hearts will determine the course of our lives. So for the month of February we will be discussing matters of the heart, and how we can become better guards of our hearts.

I believe that most of us have great intentions, but at some point or another, we all end up falling short. In this first lesson, we will be discussing the roots of disobedience, and how we can kill them before they produce a harvest. The Scripture that we will be referencing is: Matthew 4:1-11.
